Corporate Social Responsibility & ESG Update: EBC’s Partnership with United to Beat Malaria

Partnership Highlights

Strategic Alignment with ESG Values

  • Social Impact: Malaria remains one of the world’s most devastating-yet preventable-diseases, disproportionately affecting vulnerable communities. Our partnership directly supports United to Beat Malaria’s mission to reduce malaria cases and deaths, aligning with our core value of advancing global health equity.

  • Governance: EBC’s approach to this partnership is rooted in transparency, measurable outcomes, and responsible stewardship of resources, reflecting best practices in ESG governance.

Key Actions in 2025

  • Corporate Sponsorship & Employee Engagement: EBC has increased its sponsorship and mobilised over 200 employees worldwide to participate in the Move Against Malaria 5K, raising both awareness and funds for frontline malaria prevention.

  • Direct Investment in Health Solutions: Our funding supports the distribution of insecticide-treated bed nets, rapid diagnostic tests, and antimalarial medicines in high-risk regions across Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean.

  • Advocacy & Global Collaboration: By working with United to Beat Malaria, EBC leverages its global presence and influence to advocate for sustainable health solutions and foster cross-sector collaboration.

Impact & Outcomes

  • Our efforts contribute to reducing health disparities and improving economic resilience in affected regions.

Sustainable Growth & Long-Term Value

  • EBC’s malaria partnership is integrated into our broader CSR and ESG strategies, supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for health, well-being, and partnership.

  • By investing in global health, we help drive sustainable progress, strengthen our stakeholder relationships, and reinforce EBC’s reputation as a responsible global citizen.

Looking Ahead

EBC remains committed to leveraging our resources, expertise, and partnerships to create positive social impact and advance our ESG objectives. As the fight against malaria continues, we will measure and report our progress, ensuring transparency and accountability for our stakeholders.
