My 99% Win Rate That Almost Blew My Account

After some time of trading myself guys
I used to worship win rate like it was some holy number. If a trader had 99% win rate, I’d hit that copy button faster than I reply to my crush. One guy I copied won tiny profits for weeks… then one beautiful Friday, he refused to cut a losing position because “market will come back, bro.” It didn’t. I watched my floating loss grow like a horror movie progress bar.

That’s when I realised: a 60–70% win rate with proper risk control is way safer than a 99% win rate with no stop loss and ego driving the trades. Now I look at drawdown, position size and risk per trade first. The old me wanted “never lose”. The new me just wants “don’t die” lol.
