In response to the recent increase in the volatility of gold and silver prices observed over the past several weeks, PT Indonesia Clearing House hereby notifies all Clearing Members of the importance of maintaining sufficient margin levels, particularly for GOLD- and SILVER-based products, in order to ensure the adequacy of equity for existing open positions.
Clearing Members are required to continuously monitor their positions and margin requirements and to take appropriate measures to mitigate potential risks arising from significant price fluctuations.
ICH reserves the right to adjust margin requirements for gold- and silver-based products as deemed necessary. Any such adjustment will be communicated to all Clearing Members through a Joint Circular Letter in due course.
