Lots of supply coming to market next week
The U.S. Treasury is announced the auction scheduled for next week. Highlights include:
- $40 billion of two-year notes
- $41 billion of five-year notes
- $32 billion of seven-year notes
That is a total of $113 billion in those three issues.
In addition they will auction $45 billion of three month bills, and $42 billion of six-month bills
The auction amounts were as expected.
US yields are still lower on the day but have recovered off of their lowest levels. Two-year yields are down -1.8 basis points, while 10 year yields are down -1.0 basis points. Earlier in the day yields were down three – four basis points across the curve.
