ATFX UK, officially AT Global Markets UK Limited, has hired Lee Holmes as the brokerage’s new Director for Institutional Sales. He will be based in London and has already joined the new role, according to his Linkedin profile.
Holmes is a well-known name in the forex and CFDs trading industry. He spent the last decade working with many prominent names in the brokerage industry.
Worked with Many Brokers
Most recently, he was the Director of Sales at Zenfinex, a UK-based boutique brokerage offering services to both retail and professional traders, where he sent more than a year. Before that, he was with ForexVox as a Director for almost a year.
Holmes entered the brokerage industry in early 2010 with a forex and derivatives sales role at FXCM. He parted with the broker after five long years from his position of IB and institutional sales/ product management.
He also spent significant time at VIBHS Financials, a Mauritius-based forex and CFDs broker that gained an FCA license in 2014. He originally joined VIBHS in April 2015 as head of the sales, and then was promoted to take the expanded position of Director Sales and Operations in November 2017.
He was also a Director at The TJM Partnerships for eight months.
ATFX, which has a significant presence in the Asian markets, has reported excellent performance of its UK-based entity for the last few years. The FCA-regulated entity witnessed a 35 percent surge in its revenue for fiscal 2020, generating more than £3 million. The broker is also expanding its product line and launched a social trading application last November, followed by the ATFX Connect brand, which is an institutional offering to professional clients.
