Brazil Stocks Lower at Close of Trade; Bovespa Down 0.52%

Investing - Brazil stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Consumption, Public Utilities and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Sao Paulo, the Bovespa declined 0.52%.
The best performers of the session on the Bovespa were Embraer SA, which rose 4.63% or 3.55 points to trade at 80.30 at the close. Meanwhile, WEG SA added 2.09% or 0.76 points to end at 37.11 and RUMO Logistica Operadora Multimodal SA was up 2.05% or 0.30 points to 14.91 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Cosan SA Industria e Comercio, which fell 18.13% or 1.36 points to trade at 6.14 at the close. Raizen SA Preferred declined 7.75% or 0.10 points to end at 1.19 and BRF SA was down 5.38% or 1.02 points to 17.95.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the B3 Stock Exchange by 555 to 377 and 70 ended unchanged.
The CBOE Brazil Etf Volatility, which measures the implied volatility of Bovespa options, was up 3.66% to 25.48.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 2.06% or 76.52 to $3,782.32 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November fell 0.03% or 0.02 to hit $62.38 a barrel, while the December US coffee C contract rose 0.48% or 1.75 to trade at $368.25 .
USD/BRL was up 0.31% to 5.34, while EUR/BRL rose 0.77% to 6.30.
