Brazil Stocks Higher at Close of Trade; Bovespa Up 0.05%

• Market Record: Brazil's Bovespa index edged up 0.05% on Wednesday, closing at a new all-time high, supported by gains in Telecoms, Industrials, and Basic Materials sectors.
• Top Gainers: Cosan (+5.68%), Braskem (+5.12%), and Petrobras (+2.55%) led the advances.
• Lagging Stocks: Razen (-5.98%), Natura & Co (-2.61%), and CVC Brasil (-2.42%) were the worst performers, while market volatility ( CBOE Brazil ETF Volatility) rose 1.70% to 26.29.

Investing - Brazil stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Telecoms, Industrials and Basic Materials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Sao Paulo, the Bovespa rose 0.05% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the Bovespa were Cosan SA Industria e Comercio, which rose 5.68% or 0.36 points to trade at 6.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Braskem SA added 5.12% or 0.42 points to end at 8.62 and Petroleo Brasileiro SA was up 2.55% or 0.89 points to 35.83 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Raizen SA Preferred, which fell 5.98% or 0.07 points to trade at 1.10 at the close. Natura & Co SA declined 2.61% or 0.24 points to end at 8.97 and Cvc Brasil ON was down 2.42% or 0.05 points to 2.02.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the B3 Stock Exchange by 469 to 464 and 63 ended unchanged.
The CBOE Brazil Etf Volatility, which measures the implied volatility of Bovespa options, was up 1.70% to 26.29.
Gold Futures for December delivery was down 1.36% or 51.73 to $3,763.97 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 2.22% or 1.41 to hit $64.82 a barrel, while the December US coffee C contract rose 5.31% or 18.60 to trade at $368.75.
USD/BRL was up 0.84% to 5.33, while EUR/BRL rose 0.19% to 6.25.
