Although Britain was the first nation to strike a trade deal with Trump, the pharmaceutical tariff rate remains under negotiation, meaning the UK is not shielded from the new measures, a source told Reuters. Pharmaceutical imports from Britain accounted for about 3.3% of total US pharmaceutical imports in 2024, according to US trade data.
