Brazil Stocks Higher at Close of Trade; Bovespa Up 0.55%

Investing - Brazil stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Real Estate, Financials and Basic Materials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Sao Paulo, the Bovespa added 0.55%.
The best performers of the session on the Bovespa were Grupo Vamos SA, which rose 5.48% or 0.17 points to trade at 3.27 at the close. Meanwhile, Auren Energia SA added 3.82% or 0.42 points to end at 11.42 and MRV Engenharia e Participacoes SA was up 3.46% or 0.23 points to 6.87 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Sendas Distribuidora SA, which fell 7.08% or 0.60 points to trade at 7.87 at the close. C A Modas SA declined 2.92% or 0.50 points to end at 16.62 and Fleury SA was down 2.69% or 0.40 points to 14.45.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the B3 Stock Exchange by 464 to 455 and 64 ended unchanged.
Shares in Auren Energia SA rose to 52-week highs; up 3.82% or 0.42 to 11.42.
The CBOE Brazil Etf Volatility, which measures the implied volatility of Bovespa options, was down 0.15% to 27.03.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.04% or 1.44 to $4,110.54 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 3.53% or 2.02 to hit $59.26 a barrel, while the December US coffee C contract rose 2.51% or 10.40 to trade at $423.95 .
USD/BRL was up 0.23% to 5.40, while EUR/BRL rose 0.31% to 6.27.
