Brazil Stocks Higher at Close of Trade; Bovespa Up 0.59%

• Brazil's Bovespa Index rose 0.59% on Thursday, driven by gains in Industrials, Basic Materials, and Real Estate sectors.
• Top performers included Azzas 2154 SA (+5.55%), Braskem SA (+5.50%), and WEG SA (+3.55%).

Investing - Brazil stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Industrials, Basic Materials and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Sao Paulo, the Bovespa rose 0.59%.
The best performers of the session on the Bovespa were Azzas 2154 SA, which rose 5.55% or 1.45 points to trade at 27.56 at the close. Meanwhile, Braskem SA added 5.50% or 0.36 points to end at 6.90 and WEG SA was up 3.55% or 1.42 points to 41.44 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Magazine Luiza SA, which fell 5.64% or 0.47 points to trade at 7.87 at the close. Marfrig Global Foods declined 2.86% or 0.45 points to end at 15.26 and Fleury SA was down 1.73% or 0.25 points to 14.20.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the B3 Stock Exchange by 541 to 375 and 71 ended unchanged.
The CBOE Brazil Etf Volatility, which measures the implied volatility of Bovespa options, was up 0.11% to 27.06.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 1.45% or 59.09 to $4,124.49 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 5.44% or 3.18 to hit $61.68 a barrel, while the December US coffee C contract fell 2.54% or 10.70 to trade at $410.15 .
USD/BRL was down 0.31% to 5.38, while EUR/BRL fell 0.25% to 6.25.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 98.75. (AI)
