In Europe, the Stoxx Europe 600 was flat in morning trading. Puma rose 16% and Embracer Group Series B added 3.4%. On the other hand, Eurazeo slipped 5.8%, and Unite Group lost 3.7%. The FTSE 100 lost 0.1%. Other stocks in Europe were mixed as France's CAC 40 was flat and Germany's DAX climbed 0.2%.
The Wall Street Journal Dollar Index was flat at 96.97.
In commodities, Brent crude fell 0.1% to $62.47 a barrel, and WTI crude dropped 0.1% to $58.62 a barrel. The European benchmark price for natural gas, the Dutch futures contract TTF, was down 1.1% to 29.17 euros a megawatt hour.
The German 10-year Bund yield was flat at 2.674%, and the yield on the 10-year U.S. Treasury held steady at 3.999%. Bond prices and yields move in opposite directions.
Stocks in Asia were up as Japan's Nikkei 225 index gained 1.2%, and Hong Kong's Hang Seng climbed 0.1%. China's benchmark Shanghai Composite gained 0.3%.
