Mixed start for Europe, STOXX 600 inches up to another record

Reuters - MIXED START FOR EUROPE, STOXX 600 INCHES UP TO ANOTHER RECORD
Major European equity indexes are mixed on Tuesday, although the STOXX 600has hit another new record after jumping above 600 points for the first time on Monday.
The pan-continental benchmark is up another 0.2% on Tuesday as global equities continue to push higher at the start of the year, with little news to stop the buoyant mood.
Healthcare stocksare today's leaders, helped by Novo Nordiskshares which are up almost 5% after it said late on Monday its Wegovy weight-loss pill was available for sale in the United States.
The retail sector is also in focus. Britain's Nextis higher after it slightly upped its profit forecast again.
Britain's supermarketsare also higher after some upbeat sales data leading up to Christmas.
But sportswear brand Adidasand retailer JD Sportsare dropping after Bank of America downgraded the shares of both companies.
French and Swiss indexes are both trading a touch lower.
